Wir sprechen über die dritte Ausgabe des Festival of Future Nows: ein Ausstellungsformat, das die Grenzen zwischen Künstlerinnen, Publikum und Institution neu denkt. Gemeinsam mit jungen aufstrebenden, aber auch etablierten Künstlerinnen lädt Eliasson dazu ein, Kunst als offenes, kollaboratives Experimentierfeld zu verstehen. Vom 31. Oktober bis 2. November 2025 wird die Neue Nationalgalerie zu einem Ort künstlerischer Begegnungen, Experimente und Visionen – im Innen- und Außenraum des ikonischen Museums.

Olafur Eliasson ist Künstler. Mit seinen Arbeiten, die oft auf Licht, Bewegung und Wahrnehmung basieren, erforscht er das Verhältnis von Mensch, Natur und Raum. Seine groß angelegten Installationen und Projekte werden weltweit gezeigt, unter anderem im Museum of Modern Art in New York oder der Tate Modern in London.

Das Festival of Future Nows wird von Olafur Eliasson gemeinsam mit Christina Werner, Ricarda Bergmann, Nikola Richolt, Sophie Uebach, Lisa Botti, und Klaus Biesenbach organisiert.

We talk about the third edition of the Festival of Future Nows: an exhibition format that rethinks the boundaries between artists, audiences, and institutions. Together with both emerging and established artists, Olafur Eliasson invites us to experience art as an open, collaborative field of experimentation.

From 31 October to 2 November 2025, the Neue Nationalgalerie will become a place for artistic encounters, experimentation, and visionary ideas – unfolding both inside and outside the museum’s iconic architecture.

Olafur Eliasson is an artist. His works, often based on light, movement, and perception, explore the relationship between people, nature, and space. His large-scale installations and projects have been presented around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Tate Modern in London.

The Festival of Future Nows is organized by Olafur Eliasson together with Christina Werner, Ricarda Bergmann, Nikola Richolt, Sophie Uebach, Lisa Botti, and Klaus Biesenbach.
